A casement stay consists of two parts attached to the window frame and casement, helping control the opening angle of casement windows. The adjustable arm of the casement stay engages with a mechanism to hold the window in place, preventing it from swinging open or closed. This system allows for ventilation while offering a secure means of keeping the window at a desired position.

Georgian Rope Home hardware draws inspiration from the refined design principles of 1800s England, featuring a distinctive rope detail in door knobs and handles. Reflecting the classical sophistication of Georgian architecture, this style brings a timeless and elegant touch to home interiors, paying homage to the craftsmanship of the historical period.

This traditional type of casement hold features a perforated rod held in place by two sill-mounted posts. The rod measures approximately 10 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. It has 5 stop placements, each 1.15 inches apart. All hardware needed is included.

Our polished brass has a living finish, which means it naturally darkens and ages over time. If you order multiple pieces in polished brass, there might be slight variations in finish and tone initially. Other finishes won't darken or tarnish. For a lasting shiny polished brass finish, you can request a custom lacquered brass finish by emailing us.
