AOANT001
This antique fluting iron was manufactured approximately between 1880 and 1920. Although the manufacturer's stamps or markings are not present, it is a classic tool used during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Primarily utilized in both home and professional settings, it was essential for creating crimped or fluted patterns in fabric.
It measures approximately 8 1/4" in height and 12 1/2 inches in width.
The tool features a durable cast iron body with a wooden handle and brass rollers. These rollers would be heated and the fabric cranked through the irons to produce beautiful pleats and textured patterns, commonly used in fashion and home textiles of the time.
This is an original piece and only one is available.
Original: As this item is original, there is only one of them. If you try adding multiples to the cart, it will not allow you to do this.
